| QUALIFYING TO BE CRUCIAL IN BRANDS HATCH'S FASCINATING ROUND OF THE BLANCPAIN SPRINT SERIES |
14/05/2014 - Blancpain Sprint Series will resume this coming weekend at the circuit of Brands Hatch (GB) for the second round of the season.
As already happened a month ago in Nogaro, Filip Salaquarda will be defending - together with his co-equiper Andrea Montermini - the Ferrari colors behind the wheel of the sole 458 Italia present in the championship. The British round will give the Czech driver another chance to shine after the convincing performance scored in France, where he earned some points at the debut.
Filip Salaquarda:
"Brands Hatch is one of the great classic race circuit, a piece of motor-racing history that has staged great battles in Formula 1 and in the 1000 km races. I made my debut there back in Formula 3 days, even if we were racing on the short Indy track. In other occasions I competed on the complete layout. The track is quite narrow and overtaking is not easy: being fast in qualifying and in the Qualifying Race will therefore be crucial to score points."
