| SLOVAKIA RING TO RELAUNCH THE CHALLENGE IN THE BLANCPAIN SPRINT SERIES FOR FILIP SALAQUARDA AND THE FERRARI 458 ITALIA |
21/08/2014 - The summer break being over, Blancpain Sprint Series will resume this coming weekend at the Slovakia Ring with the fourth out of seven rounds of the season.
After the positive performance scored at the 24 Hours of Spa in the Blancpain Endurance Series, Filip Salaquarda will be back on track to defend the Ferrari colors on the only 458 Italia entered by Scuderia Villorba Corse, on the closest circuit to all his supporters. Despite the holiday period, the Czech driver has been busy with intense training sessions held in Montecarlo with the objective of reaching the final part of the season in perfect shape.
Filip Salaquarda:
"The features of the Slovakia Ring do not particularly favour the Ferrari 458, therefore we put great care in preparing this round: the team did a lot of technical work, while I kept physically fit. Despite a not so favourable balance of performance, I managed to get a podium last year and I would be delighted to repeat that this time around too".
